Back from Idaho

Sorry, no posts for the last week.  I had to fly back to Idaho to get my daughter who wasn't feeling well.  I'll be back to regular stamping related posts tomorrow.  In the meantime, enjoy some scenes from back home.

Paper Pumpkin to the Rescue

One of the things I love so much about the monthly Paper Pumpkin kits is their timely theme.  In May the kit was geared to Mother's Day.  In June the kit was geared to Father's Day.  And if you just received your July kit, it's all about patriot fun!

When I was at church on Sunday, one of the PPK subscribers saw me and mentioned how much she enjoyed the June kit.  She was able to quickly make up a couple of Father's Day cards.  Talk about timely!

I had already made my Dad his card; so I created masculine birthday cards out of my kit.  How easy, peasy!  Check it out:

The Paper Pumpkin kits come with just about everything you need - instructions, ink spot, photopolymer stamps, embellishments, and cardstock.  All you add is the snail adhesive.

Island Floral Basket

I haven't posted regularly for a while.  We've been getting my daughter ready for a month long trip back home with her Daddy's family.  She started off flying to South Dakota to see her BFF from Idaho who was at her Grandma's house.  After spending the weekend there, they drove to Casper, Wyoming.  On that drive they stopped to visit Mount Rushmore.  Yesterday, they drove from Casper to Pocatello, Idaho.  My DD is with one of her cousins today.

I was asked to create some Island Floral flowers.  I made four each in three different colors.  Aren't they adorable?  Here's what they look like:

Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Garden Green, Pumpkin Pie, Raspberry Ripple

Accessories: Big Shot, Island Floral die, glue dots, sticky strip, and Vanna White yarn in Fern.
