I used the Light the Sky stamp set and dies. One of the dies cuts out a peek-a-boo firework pattern on cardstock for the layer underneath to show through. Then I heat embossed more fireworks and the greeting on the main layer. Once again, the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set comes to the rescue. Seriously, one of my favorite stamp sets because it has every sentiment I need! I used the banner stamp from Bloomin' Love to showcase my sentiment (doesn't it fix perfectly). The heart from the Bloomin' Heart thinlits can be used to weddings too (not just for Valentines). From from dsp stash, I pulled out the silver fancy foil designer vellum. Since you can see through the vellum, I put small glue dots behind the silver hearts to adhere it to my cardstock. Voila', a beautiful shower card for a sweet young woman. Welcome to the family!
These little treat bags are quick and easy to make.
Sunbeam Stamps is a company that sells LDS themed stamps; so I used this one about Scriptures. I dipped into my paper stash and found some scraps of Baja Breeze to use. It's a simple card since an 8 year old boy isn't into fancy cards yet.
I chose to use this week's Try Stampin on Tuesday's sketch challenge-354. There was the optional theme for metallic which I used to my metallic star accessories. The dsp is from BoBunny Prairie Chic. Yes, I'm a dsp hoarder! One of my resolutions this year was to use more of my dsp stash.

I like to dress up the inside of my cards and I also stamped the cowboy hat from the Out West set on the envelope. The whole ensemble looks very western. I'm sure my cowgirl niece will love her birthday card.
I needed a birthday card for a great nephew this coming week. He lives on a ranch so this stamp set is perfect for him. We could change up the focal image from hearts to any shape we wanted; I picked butterflies. There are lots of butterflies for this card, the focal image has two die cut butterflies and the background of Soft Sky cardstock was running through the Big Shot with the Butterflies TIEF. The only stamping I did was the sentiment.
Another member of our group, Vicky Benson, informed us that she could use some cheering up, but wasn't receiving visitors. I thought one of my handmade cards would do the trick. No embellishments on this one as I needed to keep it flat for mailing.
This sketch has a panel that's perfect for showcasing designer paper; so I used a piece from graphic 45 that I got from a friend a while back. The little strip for the greeting seemed to be the right size for a stamp from Teeny Tiny Wishes. Now I've got another birthday card ready to use.
I used some cardstock from Stampin' Up! for the main part of the cards.

This is what I started with:
