Happy Valentine's Day

Many of you know that my husband passed away a few years ago.  Valentine's Day is a difficult "holiday" for me to observe.  I am reminded that couples are happy together.

Lovely Amazing You

Sympathy for Sandy

My brother-in-law, Dan, lost his father on Sunday due to cancer.  Gene was a great Dad and he even made the in-laws (once removed) feel like family too.  Today's sympathy card is for Gene's wife, Sandy.  Gene's funeral is today.

I still have most of my stamps boxed up; so I don't really have access to any "sympathy" words right now.  The card is pretty basic due to limited supplies.

Happy Birthday Riley with Mojo Monday 383

I'm just a little late with a birthday card for my little niece, Riley McLallen.  I knew which stamp set I wanted to use, I just didn't know how I wanted it sketched out.  Mojo Monday's sketch challenge Mojo 383 came to my rescue.  I just turned the sketch on its side and voila!

Here is the fun card I created for her using this sketch.

I was so excited to finally use this fun, exciting stamp set.  I knew it would be perfect for a child's card.  Riley likes animals and I'm sure these critters will delight her!
