FMS 155 Happy Birthday, Melissa

As I mentioned, yesterday was my sister's birthday.  I used this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge FMS 155 to create her card.  I wanted the card to be elegant and sophisticated just like her.

This is the card I created:

Stamp Set: Making Spirits Bright
Cardstock: Shimmery White and Gold Fancy Foil designer vellum
Ink: VersaMark
Accessories: embossing gun, embossing buddy, gold embossing powder, Note Tag punch, small corner rounder punch, gold cording (ret.), glue dots, and dimensionals.

I love the Shimmery White cardstock (you can't see it from the photo) but it's so gorgeous!  The new designer vellum is nice to work with since you can hide your adhesive (glue dots) behind the design pieces.  I cut the width of the note tag punch at 1-1/2" so I could elongate the tag to accommodate the stamped image.

  1. You have definitely achieved elegant and sophisticated with this card! I can imagine what it looks like in person with the shimmery white paper. Gorgeous! Thank you for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
